Welcome to the Gomfu Entertainment Newsletter! This is an edition dedicated to one of Gomfu Entertainment’s Artists, Jeremy Stein, who is still doing his thing in 2015. Jeremy Stein a.k.a J-Smooth, is an artist who just recently signed with Gomfu Entertainment.

Jeremy has been rapping for the last 8 years with friend’s in back alley’s, parks, schools, parties and just a lot of cyphers. January 2nd of 2015 Jeremy decided to take his rapping skills to the next level. Smooth decided to make his 1st mix-tape t and dropped it March 23rd 2015. The Mix-tape is called “That’s Life” and has been uploaded to SoundCloud & Reverbnation. At the moment Jeremy is working on his upcoming Album called “A Way Out” and should be releasing the end of 2015.

The significance of this single is about how he’s grown as an artist. Jeremy states “you know after dropping my mix tape i realize that this music is all I got,it allowed me to let out all my emotions. Considering the break up with my baby mother, not being able to see my son and while everybody is working their 9 to 5s, this my 9 to 5 and the music is my way out.”
The mix-tape is mainly about his past relationship with his son’s mother and how he overcame those situations and adversity. Hi songs “She Don’t Listen”, “Try Me” and “A Way Out” helped him find himself and who Jeremy Stein really is today as a artist. Jeremy states “sometimes life feels like you wan’t to give up on everything, but that’s when you got to push harder for what you wan’t in life and just go for your dreams.” Whats perfect about this album that’s dropping at the end of 2015, Is that it’s going to be about everything before the mix-tape. It’s about how this lifestyle changed him as a person, from seeing his parent’s smoking dope, living in homeless shelters’ jumping from house to house, living in bad neighborhoods, dealing with females and other family problems to the point of digging himself out of those dark holes to finally finding his “Way Out”. The particular theme of mix tape is about his son’s mother and how he learned how to deal with the trials and tribulations becoming a better man today then he was before he was signed by Gomfu Entertainment.
Jeremy Stein says “This particular single reflects letting the world know that, if you wanna be the best at what you do, don’t be scared of it, just do it. Don’t let anyone tell you that you can’t do something.” The album is going to have a lot meaning, full true life stories and should help others realize that there always a second chance, so try and learn from life experiences.
Jeremy says, “I want my fans to know who Jeremy Stein is and what I’m about. I want to help people and give back to the community. A Way Out album is going to be about family, kids, having kids, all the women that come in and out of my life, of course money, karma God, the devil, drugs, gangs and all the bad emotions and experiences that you go through in life.”
J Smooth chose this song to represent the album because the music is how he found his way out. He understands this music business can not be some hobby and that he must live for this music and will die going for it. Jeremy states ” this music showed me how I got out of the dark place that i was in and for a long time I just wanted to give up until I met my producer, Unkle Gundee. I then decided to take my skills to the next level and that’s when I made my single and from there it all came to my mind that I knew that i was going to have to make a change and love myself, because if i don’t love myself then i can’t help or love anyone else”.

This song has smooth rapping, where fans can relate to it because its all real and positive with a singing style flow rap which is typical of that J smooth style. The uniqueness is that he’s willing to put everything he has into his music because it’s just too much to lose, its passion, pursuing goals and dreams.

The album will be a digital & physical release and will be dropping at the end of this year

His sound has definitely evolved from just putting rhymes together to now twisting his flows and
saying words with meaning, allowing fans to relate to what he is saying. Jeremy will be performing at The Dragon Fly nightclub in Santa Monica, July 19th 2015, while continuously looking for future gigs and shows, whereas we will keep you guys updated.

Jeremy says “Shout out to my fans and to my manager, Unkle Gundee. All the producers, all my label mates. Shout out to my son, Julian. Julian, without you, I don’t know where i would be in life. Most of all, I want to thank God for guiding me out of that dark hole and keeping me pushing on the right path. Shout out to all my haters that ever doubted me. This is my middle finger up to you”.
