Gomfu Entertainment’s Newest Artist PhLi Cargo

Welcome to the Gomfu Entertainment Newsletter! This edition is dedicated to Gomfu’s newest artist “PhLi Cargo“.

PhLi Cargo grew up on the South Side of Chicago, IL. He began recording professionally in 2012 and in early 2016, he signed with GoMFU Entertainment.  Although, years prior, PhLi wrote and performed several songs, but had yet to pursue his passion professionally.  PhLi Cargo has released a couple of mix tape albums over the years and received great feedback from the streets, whereas, he is now ready to pursue Hip-Hop as a full-time career.

The new single is called “Still Shooting”.
The songs target gun violence in America and gun control for everyone. The subject matter is geared around the number of lives lost to gun violence from injuries, accidental deaths to regular citizens killed by law enforcement.

The video illustrates a normal day, waking up, walking to the store, which of course as an African American, can be the only reason in which situations can lead to the possibility of being shot and killed.

PhLi Cargo will be releasing his first professional album titled “Back N Hi Skool“ in the Spring of 2016. The album is a testimonial message of waking up society with realistic subject matters pertaining to but not limited to, what’s really going on in the world while keeping an optimistic outlook about the world. This new single introduces you to his world of thoughts.
