Definite Releases New Album “Kill Switch”!
Welcome to the Gomfu Entertainment Newsletter! This edition is dedicated to Gomfu Artist Definite.
Definite grew up in the Inland Empire, as an I.E. native he prides himself on putting Rancho Cucamonga on the map. Definite began recording professionally in 2011; although years prior he wrote several songs, that he also recorded; he had yet to pursue his passion professionally. Definite has released a total of 2 mixtape albums since that date; one as a solo artist and one as a part of rap duo; Army of Two with rapper/producer, label mate, and best friend Kid Kiddo aka Rich Keith.
Definite’s next single to be released is a song called “Kill Switch”. Kill Switch was released on iTunes on June 14, 2014. The song is off of his debut album “DEFINITE”, which will be released during the summer of 2014. Kill Switch references a good man wanting a good woman. The single reflects the album by true showmanship of lyricism, but a light approach to real topics and issues that affect today’s youth, despite class. “We all go through the same things essentially,” says Definite. The single has a great beat; the lyrics are real along with very complex metaphors rocking to a catchy rhythm.
Definite has a different sound and powerful lyrics which have evolved based on his own mental, spiritual, and physical growth. Definite has matured from where he began as an artist, now taking his career more seriously which is reflected in his music.
Definite explains, “My life experiences; both good and bad, are told through my music… I can relate and empathize with my listeners, because I have been through it all myself. From struggle, hunger, love, heartbreak, happiness, and everything else, which is what sets me apart from the multitude of people trying to rap.”
Definite has opened up for Andre Nickatina, Just Allah, and Chino XL just to name a few. Definite plans on opening and performing at larger venues and clubs, plus work on touring internationally.
